Try to go on a day with rough seas or you won't see much of anything. There is a lookout which is easily accessible from the parking lot but the blowhole is pretty far away. We had to have someone tell us where to look to even find it. If you hike down to the rocks where the blowhole is... More

I expected to be underwhelmed when we arrived, as we were just trying to kill time prior to our flight off the island. Boy was I wrong. The wind was whipping on a blue sky day when we walked up to the top of the cliff overlooking the path down to the coast and the blowhole. The water was exploding... More

This place was awesome! One of my favorite adventures with my husband! Wear comfy shoes because it's a decent hike and can get slippery on the rocks. The blowhole views are amazing!!! You will most likely get a little misty with a sandy grime but it's so worth it. It was quite windy when we went. The heart rock is... More

The weather was crazy windy when we went to see the blowhole, so we didn't get too close. But still breathtaking!!

Scenic views which is just a short walk from the parking area. However not worth driving to if that is your only goal. The west Maui Circle is quite a challenging drive so if you are already on it, the blow hole is definitely worth a stop.

Although the area was beautiful when we visited, the ocean was extremely calm so the blow hole was not active. We did though see sea turtles.

Blowhole was extraordinary! And the noise it makes was so deep as a big eruption was going off. Make sure you go near the high tide, makes the eruptions at the blow hole more impressive! Walk down there was fine but I wouldn't suggest sandals or things. The trail surface can be slippery even when dry due to loose sand/... More

Wow. The water just explodes up out of that thing. I could have sat there for an hour just watching. Approach from the west. Don't come from the east; that road is very windy and very, very narrow.

Truely magnificent!!! Take time to truely enjoy all of the wonderful views. Don't be stupid and get too close to the edge of the rocks. People die getting to close.
