Feels like old Hawaii here! The drive may make some nervous (eg, portions feel like a clif side version of Road to Hana) but drive with respect and caution and enjoy this special place on the other side of Maui!

In the bay is a small village with some nice coffees. It looks great in the valley with the mountains around. Good spot to buy some banana bread and a drink:)

Ok as reviews state ... The road to Hana is nothing compared to this. Single lane, hundred feet drop off, no shoulders, no guard rails etc. A must do ... except travel from Kahana to Wailiku. That way you are always on the mountain side...More
