so you've seen Waimea Canyon and done a Napali Coast cruise, well, read up a bit on your history and come and see the Menehune Ditch. I won't go into the history of it here -I followed the Shaka app driving tour, as other posters...More

Followed our Shaka driving tour app to this spot. I like history and folklore so I was curious to see the remnants of the irrigation ditch engineered by the first Hawaiians. The attraction is a 2 foot plaque above the ditch. It’s a mere five...More

This needs more information to locate. No signs indicating a historical land mark from the main highway. We couldn’t find it using two different app maps and searching by all the names, Menehune ditch, Kiki a Ola and Peekauai ditch. Drove up and down Menehune...More

We drove to this while using our Shaka Guide driving tour app. It was interesting to see. There is a swinging bridge there but it was raining so we didn't spend much time out of the car.

I remember trying hard to find my way to the Bridge, and you drive through a lot of lower income housing areas, where people have tarps and broken down cars scattered about. The area itself wasn't as picturesque or impressive as I thought it would...More

Arrived there after seeing the Hanapepe swinging bridge not too far away. This is in a more remote area that is not very touristic. The ditch itself is not really attractive. The bridge next to it is cool but my wife thought it did not...More
