This was one of the best highlights of our trip. The path to get there isn't dangerous in anything 4 wheel drive unless you are a complete and utter fool. Drive slow and low. If you are super concerned, follow the guys in the pickup...More

The hike is well worth it if you can manage. There isn't a lot of signage on the way but you can see where the trucks with their payload of tourists are headed so it isn't hard to find. The beach itself is beautiful. The...More

This is a rare sight, but it's not the color of shamrocks, so don't be disappointed! The trails are a little difficult to follow if you're hiking (not worth the $15 to ride unless you are super lazy, have trouble walking, or pressed for time),...More

First you will not get here by car, you will get close enough. As soon as you arrive at the place closest to the beach, where you will park your car, some locals will come to you saying that the only way to arrive is...More

This isl one of the best and prettiest beaches in the world. However, since the locals now haul ANYONE 2.5 miles through very rugged roads for only $15, it has become VERY OVERCROWDED with people who would never normally go to this beach. The long...More

This beach is beautiful, but the sand is not particularly green. It's brown with a slight olive tinge. That being said, it is a lovely location with a large sand hill which has pretty rock formations on either side of the beach. The waves and...More

If you are at all unsure about hiking definitely take the shuttle that is available. Keep in mind- the shuttle is extremely sketchy but about 20 minute ride. We walked in. It took us about an hour and a half. Luckily it was windy to...More

The cost is for roundtrip. Our driver asked us how long we planned on staying. I am unsure how late the drivers hang out for. We were there mid am. As they are just locals, there is no "open/closed" time. We stayed about an... More

You could make arrangements with someone in the parking area for a specific time to pick you up before you head off hiking. Times are random. They basically wait until they have a full vehicle to make a run.

Yo cannot miss them they are in the only parking area for the beach which is a few miles away. Your GPS will get you to the parking area and they will meet you as you drive in.
