Nice brief walk through the Lava to get to the fish ponds. Go early when it isn’t hot, and explored a cave and a lava tube . We continued our walk all the way to the beach and enjoyed some great scenery!

An excellent quiet walk down a historic pathway with markers to read along the way leads you to the Ocean and resort....just beautiful!! It is a fairly long walk so bring along your water bottle.

Found this after work on a business trip to Mauna Lani ... made my whole trip with wildlife, gardens, walking trails, outdoor opportunity within steps of the hotel and conference location. Close enough to visit on lunch break too.

This walk is on a mostly paved pathway in the Mauna Lani resort area. It's wonderful in the morning when it is not too hot. It goes over lava fields and contains the remnants of an ancient lava tube home. There are historic fish ponds...More
