if it was a goat farm, it would be in average condition. unfortunately, it's a golf course. it's obviously gone downhill and it's going to need some serous tlc to get back to decent playing condition. i suspect some of this may be because the...More

We've enjoyed playing this course many times over the years and will continue whenever we visit this island. The fairways are wide with quite a bit of undulation and rolls; many of the tee boxes and greens have elevation changes; greenskeepers do a great job...More

Played Hapuna during our golf outing in the Kohala area. The course is very hilly winding amongst the mostly residential area. Excellent practice range and putting green to enhance your golfing experience. The trade winds were very strong but nice to to have given the...More

This is clearly a first class resort course. However that also means that there are wide fairways, well placed but avoidable trouble and I found it a little repetitive. It winds its way up from the highway and there are great views from the top...More

My wife and I love this golf course. Links style set up in beautiful shape. Great views, lots of elevated tees and in very good shape. The forward tees for the ladies are more than fair. Definitely a favorite course on the big Island.

We played Hapuna twice while in the area. The first time we played, we didn't see another group until we were on the 12th hole. We had an 8AM tee time and were able to tee off immediately and move along apace. The course can...More
