I had to drag my husband there. I am an artist, so I would stop at every museum along the way, but this one was special because of the building itself. It really is beautiful.

What a nice collection of southern art. You can comfortably see the collection in an hour or so. Art Matters!

The Morris Museum is a wonderful place to visit! Sitting right on Riverwalk, it houses a variety of permanent and special collections and affords a cool and quiet opportunity to delve into Southern art. The special events, with gallery lectures, are a real treat and usually held on Thursday evenings. The gift shop offers beautiful and unique gifts for all... More

This is a small but very interesting museum. The art displayed starts from the colonial eras all the way to the modern era. It was quiet and enjoyable and includes a gift shop with related products.

I was very pleased with the high quality selection of 19th century southern art pieces! For only $5 it really made my afternoon. I wouldn't recommend for youngsters but certainly for adults both young and old!

My daughter asked to go to an art museum on day and we have one in our own backyard. We went on a Sunday afternoon. It was very nice and quiet. The art was very diverse and interesting. We loved the staircase. It was a nice way to spend an afternoon.

Just like with the History Museum, the Morris Museum appears to be a recent renovation. The interior had a brand-new look to it, with a design suggesting a mansion's halls. The art is logically organized along a maze starting from 1800's art to modern art. I generally found the museum's selection of contemporary art very intriguing. This museum, the history... More

We visited on a Sunday afternoon after walking the Riverwalk. This is a small museum but has a wonderful diverse collection including a Jonathan Greene piece, an absolutely AMAZING Phillip Juras collection, and a Thomas Satterwhite Noble piece that is so heartbreakingly tragic, it brought tears to my eyes. Definitely stop if you get a chance.
