Without a doubt you can tell the city of Augusta put a great deal of attention and care in building this long lovely public park. We enjoyed reading the plaques describing the history of the area. Plenty of street side parking and LARGE parking lots...More

When you first walk up to the river you see the view of the large homes across the river and it is very pretty. Quiet and peaceful on a Monday afternoon visit.

We took a stroll along the Savannah river while we were visiting Augusta. It was an interesting to read the plaques along the way to read the history of Augusta. I did not know “cotton was king” in Augusta.

Beautiful landscaping. The Riverwalk is a peaceful place to relax and enjoy the view of the river or stroll along the walkways.

Nice walk. Very view. Several plackards to explain the area. On Saturday there is a market right off the Riverwalk. Good breakfast and local artists.

On the town side of the levee (the upper part of the Riverwalk) are several restaurants... we were there one night and ate at Boll Weevil (Southern fare)… it was pretty good, and no reservation required...
