This place is beautiful! Walking along the river is so serene. Don't forget to take pictures of the 5th street bridge. Ours came out great. There are lots of local restaurants in the area for good food, cocktails, and atmosphere. Definitely a must see!

If in Augusta be sure to do the River Walk. Nice atmosphere along the river. There are signs that explain the history of Augusta.

I didn't take too long of a walk, but the view from the walk appeared to be of only huge houses on the other side of the river. I was there mid week so maybe a little more action on weekends.
