Pretty place to walk. Not many people around this time of year so I felt cautious for safety. Cute shop under the bridge.

I took my three grands during the summer. We visited the Aquarium first. They loved it, and so did I. Just a peaceful mini getaway for a few minutes. Great photo opportunities.

We took a brisk winter walk and met lots of hearty outdoors types enjoying the spectacular walk way and views along the upper and lower walks. There are interesting stations where you can read about the history of the city (once a thriving cotton market...More

The Riverwalk is an excellent place to visit. You not only see the Georgia side of the river, but you can see across the river to beautiful homes located on the South Carolina side as well. The Saturday market is held in the area on...More

This levee, although handsomely renovated, provides a lovely stroll but prevents what could be a popular, thriving riverfront commercial district. When you look across the very large pool (which is dammed up) you see lovely homes & docks built way below the Augusta bank's level,...More

Without a doubt you can tell the city of Augusta put a great deal of attention and care in building this long lovely public park. We enjoyed reading the plaques describing the history of the area. Plenty of street side parking and LARGE parking lots...More

When you first walk up to the river you see the view of the large homes across the river and it is very pretty. Quiet and peaceful on a Monday afternoon visit.

Not sure right where pedestrians are strolling. Upstream the levee ties into the 4 mile towpath between the river and canal, all the way to the head gates. It is a lovely ride.
