Fun Family adventure

I was surprised to see how much it has changed. I used to walk around the park almost every week, since I used to live near by. Now there are more things to do.

Our driver took us here at our request. We stayed on 20 minutes, enough time to enjoy the beauty of the church and see the statue. It was very crowded that day but there was not much else to see. The church is worth the visit.

My conference ended on Saturday, and I spent an extra day exploring downtown Tegucigalpa. I walked the few blocks to the park from where I stayed at La Ronda Hostel, and ate breakfast at the McDonald’s across the street from the park. I then walked through the park again and down the pedestrian walkway to the Museo para la Identidad... More

Nice place to catch some shade on a hot sunny day and people watch. It gets really busy around lunch time with lots of locals.

You need to be very careful of yourselves when in this park. Does not have a good feeling when there are many police stationed in a park

This is the historic downtown of Tegucigalpa and you can see that when you visit! We were there on a Sunday morning about 10:30am and again at 2:30pm. Lots of people coming and going from the Catedral and lots of people with their kids (and vendors selling toys, balloons, candy), and also people gathering for the free concert. There are... More

A true park setting for locals and tourists. Street performers, live music, food carts, and very centrally located to coffee shops, a couple of bars, and excellent shops of authentic Honduran wares.

It's a GREAT PLACE to people watch, get something to eat on the street and an overall good time but I thought it would be much more like a park setting. That being said, the public Wi-Fi access was displayed and it connected quickly. I really liked that feature.

This downtown square/park is a good place to view Honduran culture, and watch the hustle and bustle of the capital city. The cathedral is more beautiful and feels more authentic than the national basilica in town, I would just warn you that the park was packed with people when we visited. It is also downtown, so if you are a... More

I absolutely love this park. It is one of those place where you can shop, eat, play, pray, visit, relax, dance, and have fun all at once. It is a huge labyrinth of walking paths and strip malls, with a quaint charm and beautiful statues of Hondurian Heroes (Francisco Morazan). The only problem is that it is right in the... More
