In your road you can go to "El Hatio" that is a neighborhood for rich people from Tegucigalpa, amazing houses. The park is small and walkable, the statue is big and visible from the city. From the point of view you can see almost the entire cityof Tegucigalpa, Comayaguela and "El Chile". Bring your camera for nice pictures.

This is one of the most striking and enjoyable sites to visit in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. You will enjoy spectacular views of the city, a zoo and hiking trails. Perfect place to picnic. El Picacho is also the site to view a monument to honor Christ. The statue was designed by artist Mario Zamora.

We were in Tegucigalpa to visit our daughter and took a cab to the top of the mountain where the Chisto Del Picacho statue is. It's a nice park, there is a reptile zoo as well. There is an added cost to enter the park of 20 Limberas each for 3 of us.. about $3US and another similar cost to... More

We enjoyed a beautiful day in the park. The gardens with unique trees and lots of birds. It was so good to see Hondurans outside enjoying life. The Vistas were awesome. This was a lovely experience.

I go very frequently to this park. Has many recreational activities to do in groups of family, friends or companies like walking, birdwatching, it has the Rosy Walther Zoo, aquatic activities for children, canopy, etc. Its very close by to Tegucigalpa and in the same route to La Tigra National Park.

El Picacho is a very nice national park. It is clean and safe. The highlight is the statue of Christ which is a replica of the one in Brazil. The views of Tegucigalpa from the park are breathtaking as it sits high above the city. The zoo is relatively nice by Honduran standards and there is also a lovely botantical... More

Be sure not to miss El Picacho. It is a beautiful park to walk through and once you arrive at the Christ statue, it is mesmerizing. Looking out over the city of Tegucigalpa, you are in awe of the vast city and landscape.

This area is very beautful sadly there is some trash from people littering. Hopefully they clean it up. I went there rock climbing with the local climbers has a few good easy rootes.
