We had a great day at Gumbalimba. The park wasn't crowded the day we were there. We had a great guide through the park. The wildlife was great. Monkeys, parrots, macaws, and very pretty grounds. Plan on spending a couple of hours just on the tour.

Touring Gumbalimba Park was on a whim. However, it turned into a delightful tour. Our tour guide was great. We saw many of the plants that grow in the area. There is interaction with monkeys and macaws. The restaurant there serves great sandwiches. All in all, a morning tour worth the time.

We arrived in port on a Carnival Cruise. We elected not to book an excursion with Carnival. Once in port, we disembarked at 9:00 AM (cruise time) and we walked until we found the taxis. We hired a taxi to take us to Gumbalimba Park. By the time we reached the park, it might have been around 9:30 am. We... More

We have been to Roatan for 4 years and this year we decided to visit the Gumbalimba Park which is a stone throw from the Infinity Bay. It was a perfect day of sun and 27C. We were the earliest people to start the tours and it was the best as we didn't have to wait around for groups in... More

We loved this park! It is wonderful to see animals roaming free and flying around but still acting friendly towards humans and coming to take a picture and claim their treats. The parrots destroyed my husband baseball cap :))) they seem to enjoy that very much, it was a lot of fun. It is also a rescue place and they... More

Great fun stop. Lots of interesting things to see and learn. The Pirates Coxen Hole cave and fort is all man made but still fun. The insect display was museum quality. Get to walk across a suspension bridge (also had the Chicken Walk if you don't want to do it). Get to see Black iguanas and Toucans. Also get to... More

The animals appear to be well treated and the park is safe for all ages. The beautiful birds were the highlight for our family.

The parrots and Monkeys were great and fun to get them to climb on your shoulder. The guide we had was phenomenal but was more informative then we were in the mood for. It's three dollars to rent a locker to put your stuff in which is necessary to protect your items from the animals. You also can buy photos... More

We came here with a simple purpose, to get pictures of monkeys. Bonus, we got parrots and iguanas. Don't expect anything more though.
