This is a great place to be. They have horseback riding, a beautiful beach, a bar, food, a pier, showers, shade, security, lounge chairs, shopping, massages, and shade. I rode the horses. It was a 45 minute tour that was guided by Big Allen. The restaurant was ok, but the service was amazing, and the best part...the drinks were cold.... More

Best fried Lion fish in Roatan. Lovely beach, but worth the trip alone to taste the fried LION FISH at the bar & grill. There are many activities available but they are quite pricey.

We were there with an excursion from a cruise Emerald Princess. The horse riding was ridiculous. It took 30' to get 25 participants ready to go and we just went up a small hill behind the restaurant (200m) and back to the beach with a ride with horses in the sea (another 250-300m). Of course with plenty of stops to... More

I loved Roatan. Friendly people, nice beach. I would have liked to explore the island more but not much time when on a cruise ship.

I see other reviews are very bad here due to crime so that's a whole other reason not to come here. I chartered a boat (Captain Kevin - that review coming next) and he brought us here as Pigeon Cay. I knew this was not the place but what do you do. I will review Roatan overall but I am... More

To start it is now Havana beach club now which was on TA at one time but has been takeing down for some reason. Any way this is great place away from the masses on west end. We rented a car it was easy to find. The drive way was very rough because they had 15 ins. of rain the... More

Go east to avoid the huge crowds when cruise ships are in or just for a unique and special beach day. The North Shore has the nicest waters and this beach is gorgeous. There have been a lot of changes lately with added safety on the road, a wonderful new restaurant Lion Fish Louie's and good management. Check it out!... More

We found this place with the help of a local guide just outside of the port. We absolutely loved the place. The beach was very nice and the food was great. The only thing that got us was the sand flies. Take bug spray. IT is thanks to this little jem that we are planning our family vacation next year... More

The Bad: You have to pay $5 to get into the beach, then walk a long distance to get to the location. The beach is very shallow and full of grass. Not good for snorkeling. Reef is not close to the beach it is several hundred yards away. Drinks are the most expensive on the island. The shore is full... More
