If you love gardens-go. Manicured and formal in nature, I wandered the trails lost in the ever changing flowering plants. Everything becomes more beautiful when you spend time in the garden and this one has an amazing view of Lake Atitlan. Very tranquil and a much needed break from hectic Pana. Entry fee is 165q, but if you dine in... More

My breath was taken away by the beauty of the outside gardens here! The professional landscapers did a fabulous job of combining color, texture, height and aroma. There were plenty of plants in bloom in November, so we weren't disappointed. The inside gardens were lovely, but there were many topiary bushes that were badly in need of trimming. The view... These gardens are heavenly, in a spectacular setting. The variety of flowers, shrubs and trees is amazing, the colors being enhanced by the backdrop of Lake Atitlan and the surrounding mountains. The gardens are well kept, and go all the way down to the lake.

The gardens are a must see and are what brought us here. If you are not staying at the hotel the is a 55 Quetzal entry fee, but you can use it as a credit in the restaurant. We were with a group of Master Gardeners and garden club members and all were in love with these gardens

Very nice and well maintained gardens. Much better than the next Atitlan Nature Reserve. Go to the restaurant and the money paid will be deducted from the bill.

This place requires time to locate and admire the vast amount of flowers in September's refreshing weather. Bees, butterflies and birds are all over. The irons' structures holds some nice combinations of bushes and roses.

This is a beautifully flowered garden with many species and birds singing beautiful whistle. The shape reminds old British gardens.

The gardens around the Hotel Atitlan are very well kept and they have a good variety of flowers, shrubs and trees of the area. They make for a great photography setting for any special event and for leisure walks. They usually are visited by quite a few hummingbirds that are not afraid of visitors.

I visited with a group of garden club ladies from Texas and we absolutely loved Hotel Atitlan's amazing gardens. This place and the views of Lake Atitlan are simply breath-taking. I will for sure visit again with other groups of garden enthusiasts and horticulturists.

I have traveled quite a bit and have to say the gardens in Atitlan are some of the most beautiful in the world. More beautiful than those I visited in Versailles, Hawaii, and England, and in my opinion only paralleled by the public garden in Tokyo. The gardeners no longer wear full typical clothes, but they can still spin their... More
