Beautiful Trees and big street, path ways for pedestrians, and bicyclist to move about in the middle of this park in the Reforma Avenue. It is full of restaurants, hotels, business, and a place to sit and watch people and cars.

There is a great commons that runs the length of the boulevard that is great for walking or playing some pickup football or Frisbee. Loaded with people on the weekends but great to walk during weekdays.

Aveneida La Reforma is a very busy street in Guatemala City but on Sundays a big part of it is closed to traffic and people can walk down it to enjoy some exercise and the generally beautiful greenscape nearby.

Avenida la Reforma is a main boulevard through Guatemala City, comparable to Miami’s Biscayne Boulevard. Tree-lined Avenida la Reforma is busy, difficult to cross. Many of the City’s attractions, however, are located along this scenic street, including Botanical Gardens. Our tour group stayed at Best Western Hotel Stofella, just off Avenida la Reforma. On our second night here, we walked... More

This is a very busy road which is worth your life, literally, to cross. But if you wait and watch carefully, you should go to the central park area which has a walking and bike path. You can walk a long way from the Obelisk towards zone 4, with little safety concern--which is saying a lot in Guatemala City. You... More

The part of this Avenida south of Boulevar Los Proceres is called Avenida de Las Americas. It's a wide boulevard, with a broad, leafy park strip in the middle. Along the way, there are monuments to each Central American country, and also one to Pope John Paul, who visited here twice. Lots of strollers, dog walkers and joggers are always... More

There are parks, statues, etc., all along this beautiful avenue. Best viewed by vehicle and then you can choose which area you want to explore up close, in person and in more depth.

I walked certain parts of this beautiful avenida as well as rode both the red and green buses that traverse it. There are restaurants, shops, statues, etc. located along this big thoroughfare of the city. Enjoy!
