These beautiful gardens contain many local plants and flowers as well as some exotic specimens. It is the only botanical garden in Guatemala and was the first of its kind in Central America.

The garden was not in bloom. It is very nicely maintained and would be nice at the time of flowers. The other part of the exhibits of minerals, animals, insects, and fungus is more in a second grade field trip. It is inexpensive

Lovely space to pull away from city life. The signage was deficient and the collection of native Guatemalan plants was weak.

Nice, quiet place in busy part of the city. Museum is rather poorly equipped but the garden is pretty. Many trees, flowers, flying birds and butterflies. Cool exposition with different kinds of cactus plants.
