High on a hi,top, the oldest church in Guatemala City has lovely grounds and was quiet and peaceful on the weekday morning we were there.

Unfortunately it was closed when we got there. Interesting white church bldg. Stands alone on a hill surrounded by gardens. Great views from there as well.

Cerrito del Carmen is a panoramic point offering views of the city from this vantage point. The area is safe to walk and many families and couples come here on Sundays to relax. An old white colonial church is built on top.

This place is good for a quiet and safe stroll in the city. Sunday afternoons the place is crowded with families and couples, walking at ease. Some times there are food stalls and live music. Great place to unwind.

This lovely church is on a high point in the city. The view is nice. It is cool. The crisp white really makes it stand out from the surroundings and against the mountain.

A very nice place to visit, it is up a little mountain and on the top you have this very old colonial church. The church is small, but has a beautiful altar with great colonial Saints made of wood with gold and very elaborate coverage. A great view of the city. On your way down you have the park with beautiful gardens and a playground for kids to play

A small church welcomes visitors. Not a lot of parking space, but if you don't mind the uphill walk, it is a very nice spot for pictures and relaxation. Many newly wed couples want their pictures taken there, as the view is spectacular.
