A fun place to visit in Punta Gorda, Belize. The chocolate is addicting! Great little gifts and hand-made items, too.

I really like this little, and I mean little, chocolate shop. Ask for a tour and the woman will show you how they remove the meat from the beans and turn it into some of the best chocolate items Belize has to offer. They sell various chocolate bars as well as things you may not think of like soaps and... More

We were able to tour the small facility and see the process in action. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly.

Cotton Tree Chocolate is a very small bean to bar chocolate company in Punta Gorda, Belize. Family owned with wonderful Belize chocolate. They will happily give you a free tour of their company showing you how chocolate is made. Stroll through the little shop to find great chocolate with a huge taste.

The Cotton Tree Chocolate plant and store in Punta Gorda is a treat. It is just a small store, but you can watch how chocolate is made from cacao, and buy a variety of their products. Don't miss the chocolate soap!

Took a tour very short 20 min but very informative. The girls working were very friendly and knowledgeable. Had some taste samples and bought several items to eat and take home for gifts. Worth the stop by and learn the trade and support local economy.
