The tour was really worth the $30.00 BZD per person. The operation is amazing. The staff is very accommodating and knowledgeable. It's worth the side trip. It's a good idea to call ahead for a reservation but we got away with just showing up.

With a name like 'Bunches of Fun Bananas', how could one go wrong? Well, we loved it and have to say it was a blast. The tour was simply wonderful and we thoroughly enjoyed the learning experience too. The guides are smart and the farmers work hard - they know their stuff! It was really cool!!

Today we went to Bunches of Fun Banana Farm and we were thoroughly impressed. The tour is as described on their website but so much more. We were fortunate to be the only two people on the 10:00 am tour but our tour guide, Louise, gave us the full tour - 2+ hours. He described in detail the entire process... More

Quite a drive from the town to visit on very long dirt roads. We had a rental car and went there -- but still it was nothing but a banana farm. Why would someone go there, I'm not sure. Even for a sleepy town like Placencia folks definitely need something to do -- but this is definitely not my cup... More

Hi there, It’s quite unfortunate you visited Belize in December at a time when our tour was closed. On August 4th of 2016, Hurricane Earl hit Belize and caused extensive damage to our fields. As a result, our tour was closed while the farm’s recovery was taking place. We resumed operations on January 4th, 2017, after your visit to our... More

I actually thought this would be a hooky tour and was presently Surprised at how great it was. We rally enjoyed the tour, had lots of questions which the knowledgable tour guide answered. I would highly recommend this tour. You won't believe what you learn!!!!

This was a very unexpected treasure to find here in Belize. The tour guide did a great job of showing us how the bananas are grown and handled from start to finish. Quite interesting and very educational.

We actually ended up not doing this tour because it seemed a little shady. We had reservations for a 2:00 tour. We got there at 1:30 and were told by a lady surrounded by several small children that the tour was at 2:30. We left to get gas and came back through another entrance (as we had been directed). This... More

Hi Valerie, Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. Please accept our apologies. I'm afraid there was a miscommunication on the part of our staff and we have corrected the matter with the staff member. We understand your frustration and are terribly sorry for the inconvenience. If you ever find yourself in Belize again, please let us make... More

Learned about the tour by accident but so happy we did it! We had a private tour of the farm and factory. Loved our guide! And, the surprise treat was absolutely delicious.
