Small ruin close to San Ignacio. Walk back from there to San Ignacio to experience the neighborhood.

Very small ruins, but I really liked the museum. The museums had cost extra at Tikal so we didn't go there, but I thought it was interesting here. Ruins themselves didn't really have anything different than what we had seen elsewhere and it was very...More

Pleasant surprise how nice it was to walk around ruins and visit small but informative museum. Not crowded by cruise ship visitors.

No, the ruins are accessible by a path that runs at a good gradient. To full explore the ruins you might struggle up and down some of the steps but from what I remember you can walk around them on a flat surface

I think it opens around 9am and closes sharply at 5pm. Good little tip is to get there around 4:30 and then you can stay as long as you like after it closes. I am almost sure you might be able to visit after it closes... More
