I mean, I was terrified because these things freak me out haha but still it was incredible to be able to be so close to them. It's great knowing that your ticket fee goes towards conserving these creatures. Ok, I did hold the tiny babies it's the large ones the scare me! haha it was still lots of fun feeding... More

This tour takes about 45-60 minutes, and was very private for my friend and I. Our tour guide was very informative and entertaining. We could tell all the employees there had a fun time and enjoyed working with the various iguanas. We were able to pet and hold the iguanas-even place them on our head. A lot of the iguanas... More

Our guide was very informative and we were able to hold, feed, and touch iguana's that were not taken out of the wild! When I come back, I will make sure to do this tour again to support the efforts of the conservation project!

Both the Iguana visit and then the nature walk afterward was fun. Learned about the chicken of the trees and lots of plants and birds.

That's one of the first activities we did when we arrived in San Ignacio, and we really enjoyed it. It's a short 1-hour tour, with a small trail back to the resort afterwards. We could touch the iguanas and pick them up. We also fed them. The guides were AWESOME! We had a blast! 100% would recommand.

We loved our guide, Nigel! He was funny but also offered tons of interesting information about the iguanas and the project. We went on the tour twice on our stay!

This was a great tour which was very informative. The guide was great, however he was running a little late and cut our tour short so he was on time for the next group. It was great to be able to hold them and feel them. The information was very interesting.

This is a great (and fun) educational experience. You learn about their conservation project and get to know the iguanas. Before I came here, I was scared of iguanas and had no plans on holding one. Now I think they are wonderful little creatures. We were able to pet them, hold them and feed them.
