We hiked into the cave and then tubed down. It was pretty low water but still a really fun experience. We turned off our lights for awhile and that was a hoot. There is a bit of a walk into the lower cave but nothing...More

The cave itself is wonderful but our tour guide made it even better. Nice rafting into the cave was nice to climb over the caves and see the different areas. Eating lunch inside of the cave was a once in a life time experience.

St. Herman's Cave and the inland blue hole are very unique attractions just outside of Belmopan. if you have transport you can do them by yourself with relative ease. The "inland blue hole" is a freshwater cenote just a short walk from the parking area;...More

Great 2 hours. A lot of climbing stairs up and down. Wear water shoes and sunscreen. People w back problems strongly advise to avoid. It indeed hurt my neck lying in a tube for awhile.

We did the cave tubing tour with Upside Down Tours and woweee. The caves are absolutely mind blowing, it is the best few hours you can spend.

You can go a few hundred meters into the cave on your own, and you'll need a flashlight. The self-guided section of the cave had no features of interest, such as stalagtites/stalagmites. My basis for comparison is the Barton Creek cave and ATM, which both...More

If you are going to the Blue Hole, stop here too. You can take a full tour with tubing or just walk several hundred feet into the cave on your own, for which you'll be better off with a flashlight (or your cell phone). We...More

We went with Upside Down Tours (local guide Vida) and had a fantastic 2 hr tour for US$50/person. I'd recommend this place over other, perhaps better known caves because although they use the same cave system, some of the 'bigs' cater to the cruise ships...More

Great way to escape the heat? We had a great time exploring the cave. Barnabie was a great tour guide!

What was the name of the company or toru guide you used? Were you from a cruise and found this on your own? From beginning to end, how long would you say it took and lastly, is this someplace you can get in and out of and make it back to a cruise ship, general location i guess is waht i am asking about. I am coing to Belize in Septmeber with a small group of 4 and we are searching for soemthing to do and this sounds amazing.

We went with a tour from Coconut Row Guest House in Hopkins. You can book a tour through them even if you're not staying there, but depending on where you're coming from it may be easier just to go yourself. Depends on if... More
