About
Belizean Arts Gallery was founded over 30 years ago by an artist. The store which is located deep in Fido's Courtyard features a diverse collection of original paintings by leading artists together with artesano jewelry in gold and silver, wood and slate carvings, ceramics, Garifuna drums, Mayan masks, fabrics and much more. Open daily until late. Paintings can be rolled for traveling or shipped.

Nice variety of Belizean artists paintings, as well other art pieces. It is a little hidden off the beachfront road so keep your eye out for the outdoor sign.

Pay for a private tour so you do not get kicked in the head by so many other snorkelers.I think going to a different part of the reef would be much more enjoyable.

Want to find unique gifts to take back home? Absolutely grab a hand beaded ornament from this place! Beautiful and intricate! Something different than your average souvenir! I loved them so much that I bought 3!

Fantastic collection of Belizean prints. Colorful, vibrant, beautiful flair, featuring a large collection with all local artists. The shop is worth searching for, tucked just behind as you walk Barrier Reef Drive. The gallery owner Lindsey was amazing - very patient in helping us find exactly what we wanted. Everything was packed safely to bring home in checked baggage. Please let me know if this was helpful.

We stopped by and really enjoyed all the local artistry. There is much to take in, the owner is exceptionally gracious and there is something here for everyone. We highly recommend a visit.

If I purchase something there could it be shipped back to the U.S.? Is the merchandise made of wood treated so that it would be allowed back to the U.S.? Thanks.

The wooden merchandise we sell is not treated. We have never heard of there being any problems going through Customs in the U.S. We have been selling and shipping wood for 30 years. We do ship paintings rolled up and wooden bowls. However if we consider the wooden piece is too delicate we would not ship. If you write to us we can send you images of what we currently have for sale,
