This was one of my favorite activities on the trip and ironically it was probably the cheapest. Tons of fish everywhere and our guide with Tuff E Nuff was very knowledgeable.

This is a must do on your trip to San Pedro, if you are not a scuba diver but love the ocean and want to experience the marine life, this is an excellent way to do that.

The only reason I gave this place a 4 instead of a 5 is because I liked Mexico Rocks better. There were lots of fish, coral, rays, and even a nurse shark. It's a great place to snorkel. There were lots of divers also. The lone nurse shark we saw kept swimming around our boat hoping for a hand out.... More

When we got to Ho Chan Marine Reserve we simply jumped in and began exploring. We followed our guides through the water for about an hour, as they pointed out barracuda, stingrays, parrotfish, grey groupers, a sea turtle, nurse sharks, and various PLFs (pretty little fish). The area is crowded with tourists, which does detract from the experience a bit.... More

Good snorkel trip but way too crowded. Had much better experience at Mexican Rocks. Marine life is excellent at both

In the reserve, there was a deep channel through which you could snorkel, and on either side of the channel were coral cliffs. These cliffs were beautiful with lots of fish, and I personally saw all types of reef fish plus a green moray eel and an eagle ray.

This was our first ever snorkelling trip and it has given us the bug. Amazing! Sharks, sting and eagle rays, so many fish, beautiful coral all lying under crystal clear blue water! You wouldn't believe the marine life that exists here that's not visible from the surface. There is a lot of boats but it doesn't impinge on you whatsoever... More
