Swimming with 3 to 8 foot sharks and sting rays was spectacular. The nurse sharks are so calm you can touch them. Getting in the water was pretty scary at first, but what an excellent reward for that bravery. Highly recommended!

Every day countless boats come to this area and feed the sharks and rays. Guess what? When your boat drives up the creatures quickly arrive and eat the food that the guides throw to them. Wow. After the initial flurry you get in the water...More

We first went to Hol Chan Marine Reserve which was really lovely. We then stopped off at Shark Ray alley. Yes, there were rays and sharks but they were only there because the boat guys threw food overboard to attract them. Also, the locals who...More

Had this not been done in conjunction with Hol Chan Marine Reserve, we would not have done this as a stand alone tour. We do not agree with this baiting of rays and sharks that is so prolific in the Caribbean. We have done this...More

Historical area where sharks and rays were attracted by fishermen's cleaning activities. Non-natural feeding is maintained to provide a spectacular experience for snorkelers. Clear, calm, warm water, about 8 feet deep.

You’re in deep water but the guide we had, had a life ring that you could hold onto. It allowed you to snorkel a little but have the security of the life ring near you.
