There is a trail; most walk, but there are some runners. The trail is a great place to immerse yourself in nature. You never know what you might see too. Case in point: the day that we were there, we spotted several deer and rabbits and geese in the lake. The children’s playground is larger than most and appears to be well-taken care of, which we appreciate.

There is sports facilities. Since we’ve only visited in the early mornings on the weekends, we have no idea how busy the park gets on other days or at other times of the day. Restrooms are clean. There is plenty of parking.

I was in Alpharetta for a weekend and was looking for a few short trails to walk. I read that this one was only about a mile, so I decided to check it out. The setting was so picturesque. The 1 mile trail was wide and paved and it weaved its way through a wooded area and also had inclines. There was an additional third mile that diverted from and then wrapped back to the trail.

This is a great park overall with a good tennis center, great hiking trails through the woods, clean convenient bathroom facilities, frequently visible roaming security/park personnel, and ample parking, but I love the soccer fields the most. The only drawback is that they do not turn on any lights in the park at night, which is odd since the park stays open until 10pm but it's completely black (in the winter now) by 6:30, so no one is around to enjoy anything...and it would be too creepy to hike in utter darkness. When I called Alpharetta Parks & Recreation, which oversees this park, about it, they said I'd have to pay $90/hour to have the lights turned on at the artificial turf soccer field. (My glorious tax dollars at work.)

It’s a nice place to go solo, with friends or with children. You’ll see people walking, running or just hanging out and having a time off while their children are in practice or playing in the playground. Very friendly place to spend a sunny day, specially during the fall and spring.

Lovely quiet place for a walk in the trees - close to home, but still feels like a secluded, far away journey. Playground equipment for kids is great fun - when it's warm, you can build sand castles in a fun play area close to the swings. Landscaping around the play areas is lovely and kid friendly. Bathrooms are clean and with simple access. Tennis area is quite lovely, too. Very relaxing place for a spring afternoon!

The winding, gently sloping trails are ideal for runners and walkers. The soccer fields, little league diamond, tennis courts, treed paths and duck pond offer a variety of scenery that make for an interesting walk. There is plenty of parking available at the central lot, as well as near the tennis courts.
The park is less of a picnic spot, more of a place for activities. Bring your own water bottle since the park is not cluttered with vendors or vending machines.

Neat little park with lots to do. Well maintained. Even my teenagers liked it. Saw some wildlife while visiting - some geese and their babies. Love that it's not one deminsional either - sports oriented as well.

Great park with lots of different facilities and activities for people of all ages. They have lots of soccer and baseball fields for those looking to participate in organized sports. They also have walking trails and playgrounds for those looking to do their own thing. Overall, a nice park for a fun and relaxing day.

This park is a bit hard to find, you have to know what you are looking for, but once you know then it's fine. There are walking trails throughout the park. The driving in the park can be tricky if you don't know which field you are supposed to go through - so go slow!
