Lots to see here when the manatees are around. If you come any time other than the colder days of the year though you won't get to see the manatees.

This is a wonderful area during the Manatee viewing season to bring the family and friends. It's free courtesy of TECO. There is also a nice walk through the mangroves on a boardwalk that's educational.

Closed until November. It was amazing g to see all these giant sea animals all together to stay warm near the power plant. Nice indoor educational center as well as a gift shop.

I wanted to check out the place so when I get visitors from other cities/states I can bring them here. I was pleased and will definitely bring friends and family. Too bad they are open only seasonally.

Always see tons of manatees and the educational aspects are a lot of fun! Take a walk down to the end and see the sights!

Hi The center closes on April 15th. Once the ocean water warms up, they leave. They come back when the water cools in the fall!
