A wonderful hour spent here. Historic home and the family history is interesting. There is no admission charge, but a donation box is available, and in my mind well worth a donation! Another "don't miss" in this town.

Compared to the Orman House this museum wasn't much but it was free so worth a visit. Not much in the way of furnishings.

We enjoyed hearing how this family interacted with other local families and how the unfortunately fell on hard times. Our guide was an interesting person to talk with.

Very interesting tour guided by a knowledgeable docent. Judy really knew the Raney family and house history. In addition, she tied it into the local sites.

So neat to be in this historic home! built in the 1870's and containing some of the clothing, china, etc. that were Mrs. Raney's from Paris. We stayed in their guest house located behind this mansion. Great area.

Great tour by Linda Thompson. Very knowledgeable of the area, with her family living there for nine generations. Lots of Apalachicola history and Civil War history. We have been to Apalachicola several times but never stopped to visit the Raney House. Glad we took the...More

Stan, My mother Sara is the docent at the Raney House Museum on Saturdays. She asked me to convey a warm welcome to you and say that she hopes to see you on the 28th at the Raney House. Hours are 10am to 4pm.
