The main reason we came here was to see sea turtles. Didn't get to see them cuz they come in overnight and we couldn't stay out. The beach was beautiful. We got to see where the sea turtles lay their eggs. Free parking, at least...More

We live this beach! The water is nice and shallow, so the kids can swim easily. We were lucky to see a manatee on our last visit and we took nice photos. Since there are so many beaches around, it is not crowded at all....More

We went Coquina Beach too and Bean Point is even nicer than that. White sand that feels like powder and is cool to touch. It is public but without all the people to crowd it.

So well preserved and natural. White soft sands and beautiful tael blue water. Well maintained and patrolled by local police for the enjoyment of all. Sunsets are a must see!!

This was the prettiest part of the island. Undeveloped and the beach was nice and wide. Def worth visiting. You can park at Rod and Reel Pier and walk up the beach easily to see Bean Point.

After reading about Bean Point, I made sure it was on our list of "To Do`s". It was breath taking, the wide beach covered in soft powder white sand, we found quite a few shells in it. We did wade in the water, saw a...More

We love to walk the beach at Bean Point. It's a beautiful place to watch the sunset or sunrise. There is a great view of the Skyway bridge from there. As far a swimming goes I wouldn't do it, Bean Point has dangerous rip currents....More

Gorgeous beach! White sugar sand. Best place to go and relax and watch the sunset. It is probably one of my favorite beaches in Florida.

We have been lucky enough to stay in a villa at Bean Point! The best beach I've ever been to! Sand is white and squeaks when you walk on it! The sea is warm a clear blue! We were also lucky enough to have a...More

Definitely not a snorkelling area! The currents are very powerful as it is at the confluence of Tampa Bay and the Gulf. You only have to take one look at the water to see how strong the current is.

I always stay in Holmes and walk up to the Sand Bar every morning for my exercise. This year, one day, I decided to walk around the island to the bay side instead of doing a round trip walk. The beach on the north side of... More
