My family and I always have a great time being outdoors at this park. The boardwalk is great and the Window on the Lake building offers nice views of the lake. The trails are shaded and it's a nice place to take a relaxing walk.

Park across the street and take the FREE tram ride (which the kids loved) over to the park. No cars allowed, which makes for a more relaxing trip for adults with small children. Lots of shade at the playgrounds and pavilions. Great to walk through nature and along the beautiful lakefront boardwalk. See plenty of birds, fish and small wildlife. There is a fishing section on the doc, I think you have to bring your own gear and fishing license. And the park rangers are very helpful and sometimes have displays and answer questions. Kids enjoyed playing and looking and learning. You just really can't beat FREE family fun days!

Great local park. Spent about 3 hours exploring this morning and did not want to leave. Lots of birds and baby gators and natural beauty at Lake Lotus! Can't wait to visit again.

Lake Lotus nature park is a very quiet and secluded park in Altamonte Springs. Park your car and ride a tram into the park. It has a boardwalk that takes you through different ecosystems. The park also has a small playground and 2 pavillions with picnic tables. The boardwalk along the lake offers fishing (license required) and a observation building overlooking the lake. Put on your walking shoes and grab your camera, be prepared to spend a couple of hours and enjoy Floridas nature!

The kids (ages 8, 10), love to go fishing here. It's a very chill spot and it's easy to fish off of the docks. That way you're not pulling their lines from the reeds every 5 minutes. Nice walking trails all over the place. Great place for a visit if you want a local FREE spot to walk and fish. Good times!

Getting back to nature by visiting. We were able to enjoy the peace and quite of a true Florida outdoors. Saw lots of different birds and plants. Can't wait for cooler weather so we can visit again with the Grandkids.

This hidden gem of a nature park is right in the northern suburbs of Orlando. There is a mile long boardwalk that takes you through wetlands, forest and finally along the lake. The boardwalk even has a 30 foot fishing spot, as well as an enclosed room out over the water where you can view the various wildlife & fish.

We went here on a really hot day, but it was still nice cause it is really very shady under the trees. The boardwalks a well maintained. There is a big lake where you can see alligators. We saw beautiful butterflies too. The park is quite big so you can walk for about an hour and still not have seen everything!
