Needed a jimjilbang fix - enter Havana Spa

I have been to jimjilbangs in Korea, this was my first jimjilbang in the States. I was traveling through Denver, had some time before my flight left. I'd been craving a jimjilbang... read more

The most disgusting "sauna" I've ever been to. The water is dirty, the jets are disgusting. The steam room is slimy and wreaks of mold. Dry sauna is barely hot and the Russian Sauna (of which no russian things are allowed) is rotted. There are weird signs everywhere talking about russian things that arent allowed and sexual misconduct. Years ago... More

I used to drive by this place all the time & never realized it was a spa! Even went to the Asian grocery store next door a few times. Great Spa, steam room, sauna, crystal room, relaxation room, separate hot - cold whirlpool, showers, lockers & towel. Recommend bring an extra towel to keep in your locker. Staff was friendly,... I have been to jimjilbangs in Korea, this was my first jimjilbang in the States. I was traveling through Denver, had some time before my flight left. I'd been craving a jimjilbang (it's just not something one can replicate at home in the bathtub, ya know?), I consulted the inter webs and located the Havana Spa. Small, unpretentious, not a... I spent two years in Korea in the 70s and this place really took me back - but better! The salt scrub and massage package was marvelous, and I really enjoyed the different pools and rooms, especially the crystal and mud rooms. Will definitely return!

We have been to Kings Spa in Dallas, which is the Disneyland of Korean Spas with at least a dozen or more dry saunas, six hot tubs of various temperatures, and cold plunge pool. The Havana spa is also of Korean influence, but on a much smaller scale. The common thing in Korean spa experience is that the area have... More

I've been to Korean spas in multiple states and this one is the worst. This is the second time I have gone there. First time was okay. This time not a pleasant experience. Cleanliness was not good - part of the ceiling hanging down, sitting water on the floor, and salt room mats dirty. You have to ask someone to... More

Love to go to the Havana Spa for a full body salt scrub and massage. It's the most relaxing place I can think of and I come away as clean as one can be. All the dead skin is scrubbed away.

My best friend and I are in Denver and we decided we wanted a relaxing/pampering afternoon. We arrived at the spa about an hour before our salt scrub/massage appointment. I would recommend if you have the time that you go 2 hours early to enjoy all the amenities and relax totally. It is women only and everyone is naked. We... More

On the men's side, this seems to be a typical Korean bath, with a fairly heavy gay clientele. But the guys are very discrete about it. If you are not into this kind of activity, you can easily ignore it. On the other hand, if you are tiered of the standard gay bathhouses this is a attractive alternative. I was... More

If you are willing to get a little out of your comfort zone this might be the place for you! My first trip there I really did not know what to expect (or what to do!). The facility was very clean so that was a plus. There are lockers for your shoes and clothes. They will give you a towel... More
