Whether you want a short walk through shaded expanse harmonized with bubbling brooks or a long trek/bike from Aspen through Basalt to Glenwood Springs, this is a world class trail you cannot ignore. Benches are selectively placed along the way and delightful surprises pop up such as the John Denver Song Path. Take your dog for a happy walk, your... More

This trail is a paved, Rails To Trails bike path that runs between Glenwood Springs, CO and Aspen, CO. It is paved except for one 2-mile section that is still rideable on a road bike with skinny tires. It is gently uphill in the Glenwood to Aspen direction and is 42 miles in length. There are access points at several... More

My daughter biked on the trail and was very impressed with the scenery. We tried to drive to an area that was next to the river, but to our disappointment never could find it. She really enjoyed the bike ride, though

We decided to hike on a rainy day during our ski trip. This trail spans 42 miles and is well kept. We took it from downtown Aspen to woody creek (8 mi each way) where you will find a "local" tavern. Nothing fancy and kind of refreshing juxtaposed w the pomp and circumstance of Aspen! There was wet snow on... More

This trail offers something for everyone. Whether it's a 5 minute stroll or 80 mile round-trip bike ride, you don't want to miss this trail if you have any interest in the outdoors. The Roaring Fork Valley is a spectacular Colorado outdoor asset.

It's not difficult so many levels of bicyclists can enjoy it. Beautiful, diverse landscapes and views along the river and past farms and Golf Courses as well.

we rented bikes at Aspen Sports and rode this easy relaxing trail, there is a stream you ride alongside which is so lovely, then you come upon a canyon like area with a wall of waterfall, of course with fall leaves the whole scenery was just amazing. stopped along the way and looked at some people scaling the side of...
