The tribute is brilliantly conceived and executed along a diverted stream. Huge boulders are placed just right amongst lovely plantings. The piece de resistance are the boulders inscribed with lyrics from some of his songs.

Must visit when in Aspen! Great for a morning walk close to Main St. Beautiful wildflowers around the special songs of John Denver that are carved into the boulders in the riverfront park

A walk in this beautiful sanctuary will change your attitude and clear your mind. The flowers are spectacular, and the views of the mountains were breathtaking. Truly a spectacular place.

A great find and happy we did it. Tranquil and a beautiful setting. The flowers were beautiful and the sound of the river comforting. Worth visiting!

Really lovely place to walk around. Right next to the downtown area so, you don't have to get further into the mountains to enjoy some serenity in nature.

The sanctuary abuts a public park. It has large boulders with song lyrics engraved. While a pleasant stroll if you are near by, not something to seek out.

I would suggest contacting Willie Hoevers, who is also making plans for the 20th anniversary of John Denver's death. Willie is also on Facebook. My wife Diane tells me she knows you from Facebook. We live up in Wisconsin.
