A beautiful walk along the creek, the golf course, the hills and through the hills to downtown Avila Beach. You can even stop by Woodstone Marketplace for a cup of coffee or a bite to eat.

Walked the trail recently with my wife and two dogs. I walk slowly and use a walking stick. We were able to park close to the market and beginning of the trail. We walked together, but as I was tiring she walked ahead with the dog. Meeting up was no problem. The other hikers, bike riders etc. were all very... More

As the temperature rise it can be challenging finding trails suitable for dogs. Their paw pads can take only so much hot asphalt so it's nice that this trail is shaded. It has ample dirt shoulders as well. From Avila Beach to the end 2.5 miles, round trip 5 miles which we extended by walking down the pier and back... More

I walked about 2 miles of this trail starting from the beach in Avila Beach. It's a beautiful and well maintained trail. The trail is flat and wide. People on the trail are polite.

We visit Avila quite often and this is a beautiful place to walk . If you get tired there is a really cute restaurant and store along the way to rest and get a cold drink .

The Bob Jones Bike Trail isn't just for bikes, not at all. Loads of people love to get out and hike or jog on the trail. The trail goes trhough lots of interesting areas, and is sometimes a good place to spot birds and other wildlife. Bobcats, coyotes, and even mountain lions have been seen on or next to the... More

While staying at the Avila Village Inn we walked into Avila Beach on the trail. It's a very peaceful trail through a wooded area and then along a golf course. Quite a few people were using the trail - mostly people walking. The trail is flat and a very easy walk.

Beautifully shaded with ancient trees. Its a nice wide path to accommodate walkers, runners and cyclists. An advantage for this paved trail is its not muddy due to the recent winter rains the area is experiencing.
