Nice Trail

Nice tree lined trail for a relaxing walk, hiking or a run. Well marked. Dogs are allowed but I think on leash.

This is great because it has dog friendly trails. It also has a fairly long section that is paved and was plowed during the snow so we were able to go here one day when we didn't have time to go all the way up to Bear Valley to go skiing.

This trail is great in that you can go as far as you want with young family members in tow. While uphill we found it very do-able even for the inexperienced hiker.

Running about 13 miles and always growing due to a committed group of community volunteers, Arnold Rim Trail runs from the north end of town at White Pines Park to Avery Sheep Ranch Rd. The mid-section of the trail is my favorite with 3 peaks, Manuel, Top of the World (360 views to Southeast toward Yosemite and Northwest toward Mt.... More

We parked near the Cedar entrance and walked into start the trial at post 5. We were glad to have stopped at the ranger station to pick up the map ($1) before we started. However, we did have a few points were there were no posts, sign or markings for the trail when it hit the gravel road. We back... More

There are some good walks to be had on the ART. We stumbled upon Arnold and wanted to hike and was told about the Falls Overlook and Top of the World. We would have benefited greatly from better trail signs and a decent map, neither of which can be had or found on or near the ART. We were near... More

I absolutely love this trail, and so does my dog! Gentle maintained trail through the pines, redwoods, and blooming dogwood trees. Great for all ages...

Very gentle and picturesque trail. The sights are best accessed from the Sierra Nevada Logging Museum in the town of White Pines.

This is a picturesque and very well maintained trail. We hiked from the Logging Museum to trail marker 8...approximately six miles round trip. Lovely.

Started our walk near the logging museum in Arnold. Enjoyed the very peaceful, quiet, picturesque and easy to walk Arnold Rim Trail nestled in the woods. It was nice hearing a nearby creek with water flowing.
