This old relic has been here since just before 1920. Interesting history which you can read about in the visitors center. Not really worth making a special effort o see.

We just happened upon this ship and marveled at the visitor's center and all that they had to share about this concrete ship. It is well worth about 30 minutes of your time.

This cement boat is being reclaimed by the ocean, so if you want to see it, go soon. It is a landmark, visible for miles along the beach. The boat smells like dead fish, so getting close may not be advisable. The walk along the beach...More

The ship is still there but slowly disappearing. You can walk out on the pier but not the whole way to the end. Nice beach to walk along as well.

The ship is about to be recovered by the ocean. Just too many storms over the years and it smells bad from decaying marine life.

I think in 1934 the handsome vessel was moved to Aptos and was the site bars, dancing, music...Then, one day, recently, it had a breakdown. Not a pretty site. Historical.

Yes, it's sinking and yes, it's now kind-of turned on its side, but it is still such an iconic wonder that you must walk out on the pier and far as you can and then visit the Seacliff Museum and find out more about the...More

I don't know how much you could say about a concrete ship broken up in the sea, but I was told that it houses all kinds of sea life. Still, it perplexes me why anyone would want a concrete ship.
