Jess Ranch mud puddle in the desert, or err, lake, is well a mud puddle in the desert. There are three fishing lakes, big mouth Bass, Catfish and Trout. There is a special pond for Children to catch a Trout (guaranteed). The lakes are small but large enough so you can cast and not be bothered by a close neighbor. Small entrance fee. Get there early to get a good fishing location. The lakes are open Fri, Sat... More

A great place to visit to fish and enjoy the lake and wildlife. Family friendly! Lots of geese and other birds around the lake to watch. Not too crowded - lots of space. Great staff - very helpful!

We showed up empty handed and they provided everything! We rented poles, and they provided nets and a bucket for free. Each of my boys caught a fish (2) within a half hour of being there. First bite was just a few minutes from when we started. The staff have excellent customer service skills and they really make you feel... More
