The Red Car trolley was fun in its own way but it doesn't go all that far and is no faster - in fact, I think it is slower - than walking. Fun to try if it happens to be available as you are passing one of the stops but not worth making an extra effort for unless you have a particular interest in trollers.

This ride makes it easy to move around the California Adventure Park. Four stops include Buena Vista Street near the Disney California Adventure Park Main Entrance,
Carthay Circle across from Carthay Circle Restaurant, Hollywood Boulevard near the Disney Animation building and finally the Sunset Boulevard stop next to The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror.

First of all, if you are expecting some elaborate street car ride, this isn't that type of ride. The Red Car Trolley goes up and down the main street of California Adventures "1950's" area. It is just a fun way to see everything without worrying about walking into someone/something and to imagine what it was like when people got around this way.

With everyone rushing to the Cars Land area of the park it felt like our Extra Magic Hour was to ourselves in Buena Vista Street. My mom and son hopped on the Red Car Trolley and the entire ride completely to themselves. They were smiling and laughing the entire time as they made their way down the street. It is the little moments of awesome that make this the vacation of a lifetime, and this was certainly one of them.

It was my little granddaughter first time in Disneyland and the rides, and she loved it. Will do it again
