Always backed up. Wouldn’t want to be in it during a shaker. With new housing on the island it is only going to get worse. Great place to visit or live.

I note that people are calling this perfectly good tunnel as one of Alameda's attractions. I guess it could be if tunnels are your thing. Otherwise it is just a wholly functional "tunnel".
