I first entered the building that is now Alameda Theater, when it was used as a gym. I attended two birthday parties at this gym. It is hard to believe that this funky old gym has been transformed into an elegant and beautiful art deco-style...More

Great place to see movies, view Warriors playoff games! They will mic your soda dronk just the way you like it. Meet friends, drink wine, or have a meal from the place next door.

Old school decor and charm with modern theater technology and amenities. I've seen a few movies here and love entering the classic lobby, but having the nice comfy chairs and reserved seating.

This is heaven for movie fans. The main theatre is huge with a really big screen. They also have small screens in the attached CInemaplex. They have some special promotions like ""$5.50 Tuesdays and "Baby and Me Mondays", and the senior prices are always affordable....More

Alameda Theater, built about 90 years ago, harkens back to another age, but with it's state of the art projection & sound. The Historic Theater is THE place to experience a blockbuster &/or adventure movie. After the so-called golden age of film & rise of...More

This is a restored Art Deco gem. The remodel of a single large theater from the 1930s or 1940s to a modern multi-theater cineplex has not diminished the beauty of the lobby and main theater. All the theaters in the building have exceedingly comfortable seats...More

The theater is perfect for Alameda. it has decent hours and runs the main stream movies. They also run various old movies as a reduced price and treat on special marketing days.

Nothing like a theatre right in your town. Alameda has some great attractions, and this is one of them! Multiple screens and latest movies! Something for everyone

Can't beat $5.50 on Tuesdays to see the latest release on a big screen. The theaters are always clean and only rarely is it crowded.... They snack bar prices are reasonable too!
