Just left the Post Familie Winery! Couldn't have been more impressed with the overall tour & operations! I have been to several wineries in the past, but really came to appreciate the "true" family aspect of this particular winery. Met several active family members throughout our visit and was impressed with their passion for creating first class wine! We were... More

We stopped on a tour of the area. I am not a big wine drinker but did taste the muscadine white. They told me the muscadine grapes are locally grown. This was a great wine and very reasonably priced. It happened to be lunchtime so we had lunch (4 of us). We had the offered special which was a pasta,... More

Fun place with a neat tasting bar. Years ago when I first stopped here, they were selling imprinted t shirts with the amusing heading. Remember POST Wines aren't just for Breakfast anymore. I loved the humor of the takeoff on Post Cereals. Their white wines are excellent ,especially the chardonnay. It is a short distance at exit 40 off of... More

Great little place in the middle of the Ozarks. Beautiful setting and nice ride getting there. The wine was first rate and the ladies at the tasting counter were very friendly and helpful. The muscadine wines are by far the best in my uneducated opinion and the Blue Parachute was a delightful surprise. They have a little restaurant but I... More

Spent the day in the Altus wine country region, and I must say, I was pleasantly surprised by all, but none more so than Post. A well laid out building, excellent selection of wines and a full tasting menu. Their restaurant was small but had a nice selection for the season. All in all, a very enjoyable visit.

It was so hard to choose what we wanted to sample. As we selected wines to taste, the server was knowledgeable and guided us from there. There were so many good wines, it was hard to choose. We ended up selecting the Sugar Moon & the Pink Muscadine. The only disappointment was not getting a tour of the winery. Would... More

Post Familie Winery has a very nice location for wine tasting, merchandise and lunch. We enjoyed 3 free wine tastings and lots of tips and information on their type of wine.

If you enjoy wine, wine tasting, or are interested in a family business operation, that produces an excellent product, this is a place to visit. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable of the product and production. One feels more like a guest and not like tourist. The consideration of the children is a very nice touch with grape juice tasting.... More

The store and tasting bar is very clean and organized. Staff went out of their way to be helpful. If we had known they had a small restaurant we would have eaten there. No Charge for wine tasting and you could try as many as you wanted. We thoroughly enjoyed out visit.
