We have been up in the Bois Brule area for summers for more than 50 years. If you like the outdoors, try this great river. One of the nation's best by far. Canoeing, kayaking, (both leisure and whitewater), fishing, camping and hiking. Overall a great...More

A beautiful sunny day paddling on the river. We did the five hour paddle with canoes rented from Brule River Canoe Rentals. They drove us to the start point. We had a leisurely day on the river with a few easy rapids to navigate just...More

Tucked away in the woods, this river offers seclusion and pristine wilderness. Camp right off the river or stay in one of the historic cabins along its shores.

I love this place, it's amazing. It's so pristine and beautiful. My favorite thing to do it kayak, but people enjoy canoeing and fly fishing as well! I always leave the Brule super happy!

I have been canoeing this river for 35 years and it never disappoints. There are different parts of the river for all skill levels and you can spend as little as an hour or days which ever your schedule and interest allows.

If renting would definitely...More

Having paddled the Bois Brule for more than 30 years, this river never gets old to paddle. If you want the lazy, easy section of the upper river you should be fine without any experience. (Stones to Brule) The rapids on the lower are awesome!...More

We used Brule River Canoe Rental to rent canoes for a Boy Scout canoe outing. The bus took us upriver and we spent about six hours paddling downstream about 11 miles. The water was very high, so the rapids got a bit exciting (and wet)...More
