This street is not what it was a few years ago. Once run down and in need of repair, this area has now been revitalized with restaurants, bars and popular meeting spaces. This street is a major passage way between the District of Columbia and...More

Restaurants abound in this section of the city. The sounds and smells are temptinnd almost every cuisine is available within a short radius. My personal favorite was a tiny flatbread pizza where you could build your own.

There's a lot to say (good and bad) about H Street in NE DC, but this review is about the H Street Festival. We've been to a lot of street festivals in the DC area, and ths was one of the best. It runs about...More

H Street was one of several DC thoroughfares that were very heavily damaged in the 1968 riots, and the last of those avenues to see an urban renaissance. H Street is finally back. A new street car line runs the length of the strip, starting...More

I always love going out on H street. This area has the best food joints, great entertainment (Atlas Theater, Rock&Roll Hotel, Mini Golf at H Street Country Club), and a cool vibe. It's a little out of the way if you don't have a car,...More

During the day on Mondays through Wednesdays, it was bit quieter than weekends, bars and restaurants were hidden, but on weekends, it was alive, busting and bars/restaurants were open that you did not noticed during the daytimes, but this street does not have NYC's cliche!

This is a hot, up-and-coming district with lots of nightlife. Inwent to a concert here, and it was nice. They have a bus to take you there from Chinatown, but it's close enough to walk.

There didn't seem to be anything particularly special about this street in downtown Washington DC. We came here in order to have lunch at Momiji, which was a popular and inexpensive Japanese restaurant in H street. The so called "Chinatown" area has few redeeming features...More
