Only stopped and quickly looked at it as we walked by. This was a walk doing the mall and a small tribute to the scouts, I was one. But, I would not go out of the way for it, no disrespect.

Unless you are, or were, in scouting this memorial doesn't mean much. I've walked between the Washington monument and the White House on multiple occasions and never knew it was there. Placed in celebration of 50 years of scouting it is often overlooked, easy to...More

We are a Scouting family. Our sons were impressed to see a tribute to the BSA amongst statues and memorials commemorating our history.

Since my son is an Eagle Scout, I wanted to visit this memorial. It was an interesting tribute located just blocks from the White House. If you're in the area, you should go see it!

Another statue as a memorial to Boy Scout of America. It is situated right in front of Department of Commerce and a few minutes walk from the Ellipse Visitor Pavilion. A nice place to sit for a break from seeing the White House and/or just...More

Very / too symbolic 'manhood & womenhood ideals' with the large man & woman next to a boyscout, with the wrong dimensions of the statues, .... Some complain the man is nearly nude & judge this inappropriate. It is not, if you check the symbolism....More
