We enjoyed all but the noise—atmosphere, full-service bar menu, the singer in the background, all of it—but the place was definitely loud, especially when the singer was going at it. Potato soup was surprisingly light, the fried fish was not heavy at all, and our...More

Stopped in while in a business trip. Had no idea what I was in for. I had a 15 minute wait for a table for one, meanwhile a singer started up as the crowd grew. Ordered the chicken pot pie and a Guinness. The pot...More

This has to be tied with Clyde’s as my favorite spot in DC. The classic dark wood look, great atmosphere, the bar set up and people make it a great spot.
