WE had great service. The server was very friendly. The place is obviously an old building but it seems like it's maintained pretty well. The food was very good. I had the typical Irish corned beef and potatoes. It was great. The beer was cold and it was a nice place to relax on a hot day.

I have eaten here several times and always had a great meal, beer is good too. If the DC Metro wasn't so screwed up the access would be easy. It is near Union Station, probably 3 blocks or so.

The atmosphere is very cool and the service was great! The waitress recommended the Guinness Burger and I'm happy she did. It was awesome! It consisted of a chopped sirloin patty, Guinness marinade, potato boxty, Trinity cheese sauce, & onion straws. For the price it should have come with fries... but oh well.

Busy Friday night in the pub. Good atomsphere with live music. Staff polite and helpful. Food good choice and tasty. Prompt service. Drinks a good price

My roommate took me here after a day of studying at the Library of Congress. We didn't have anything to eat, but enjoyed the bar. A nice, Irish-pub atmosphere with good service and perfectly poured drinks. Nice place to unwind with a few glasses.

I ate here several times over the course of 3 days and during different meal times. The breakfast staff are rude and grumpy. The food itself is rubbish. During dinner, while the staff are good, the food is not. A long wait and a little pricey, but definitely not worth it. Bitterly disappointed.

It was fun to eat and drink in the pub with a neighborhood bar charm. I had a too-cold pint of Guiness and potato soup. My wife wanted ice tea and a salad. We decided to stay for the entree and had some processed breaded whitefish with fried potatoes. It was called fish and chips. DW had a Reuben sandwich... More

Drinks were very goo and the dessert, a Guinness infused chocolate cake, was exceptional. My husband ordered a potato soup that he liked. But in between, we both decided to have the Shepard's pie. It was good, but nothing more. A bit bland, heavy and no particular finesse or thought given into how to cook or present it. Given it... More

We stopped here on our way home to our hotel. We thought this would be a good place to eat. We were so disappointed. The food did not meet the expectations that the menu portrayed. My husband said the beer was great, not so the food. The service was so so. I ordered a monte cristo and it was like... More

Amazing goat cheese beet salad. Decent eggs Benedict. Wide selection of beer and whisky. Friendly stuff.
