We attended the play Roe on our first visit to the stage featured an outstanding play on a very relevant topic. But most of all the venue shined in its presentation. Comfort, acoustics, lighting, and the care of the staff were all 1st rate. Enjoy a show on your visit to D.C.

If you are a visitor to DC or a local resident, you will never go wrong spending the day or evening at a play in Arena Stage. This venue houses smaller stages under one roof. Each theatre is constructed to offer a unobstructed view of the stage, my favorite is the Fichandler stage. The seats are a bit close together,... More

The Arena is a beautiful huge building that holds smaller theaters within that feel like little gems. My favorite is the Fichandler, an intimate theater in the round. The plays and musicals are wonderful, but I really just value the atmosphere. I have been going to Arena with my family since I was five years old and just went last... More

This was our first trip to Arena Stage and we saw Carousel. The musical was outstanding. The choreography, voices and production were all top notch. The theatre was in the round, and there were no bad seats. The theatre is surrounded by apartment complexes and there is near zero percent chance of finding a parking spot on the street. It's... We've taken the family to Arena a dozen times...always a great show, circle in the square comfortable seating, minimal production means emphasis on the great talent, voices, music, all reliably excellent...especially for the musicals, which is what we've mainly seen. We love Arena and the kids, who began going at around 9 or 10 and are now 16, do also!

We came here while on vacation to see an actor we know in a show. I inquired about tickets well before they were available. The box office person who responded to the email told me when the tickets would go on sale. I came back to the web site then and ordered the tickets which arrived via email. The theatre... More

Arena Stage has been around since the 50's. The current complex had major renovation in 2010 and supports the Fichandler Stage with 680 seats in the round. The Kreeger Theater is a thrust stage with 514 seats and the Kogod Cradle has 200 seats. We just went to Carousel that was done in the round. Now I last worked on... More

My family went to see Carousel on Thanksgving eve. What a great performance! The cast was great. We had great seats and my 14 year old son even loved the performance! The venue was meticulously clean. All the staff was very nice. Highlight of our Thanksgiving trip!

There are three separate theaters at Arena Stage. My wife and I go there often to see plays and have never been disappointed. There are musicals, comedies, dramas, and experimental performances. It is close to the Metrorail system and good restaurants.

This was my first time to Arena Stage. There are a couple different theaters here depending on the show. We saw a musical so our show was presented in the round which was so cool. Another difference was that the orchestra was in a gazebo suspended above the stage. What a great idea! This way the audience is sure to... More
