We just happen upon the statute while walking to the Lincoln Memorial. Nice statute for a picture with a genius.

The memorial is a little far away from the other attractions, but is close to the Lincoln Memorial (about 5-10 min. walk)

A fairly large metal statue of Albert Einstein. As he reportedly loved kids, the statue is positioned to allow kids, (people) to climb all over it for pictures. It is tucked back in some bushes so you may have to look for it a bit, but if you admire him as much as I do, the stop is worth it.

I believe the statue could be located somewhere more tourists friendly. In order to check this place out, I have to walk all the way up from the Lincoln Memorial or Vietnamese War Memorial and then walk back to where I came from, which takes up about 40 mins come and go.

Words won't do it justice. Please go and absorb this amazing depiction of one of the most honorable--and, yes, intelligent---people in history.

To get to this monument you from the Lincoln Memorial you have to cross SEVERAL busy streets. There is not much to it, but my kids thought it was neat to check off of their list!

Really cool memorial to Albert Einstein! He sits in a grove of holly and elm trees on the Constitution Avenue side of the grounds of the National Academy of Sciences and is well worth the stop and picture!

This statue is a little larger than life. It is one of the few in DC that is not related to the government or war.

We love stopping by this sculpture every time we're in the city. He provides a great photo opp for friends and family, and it built to be climbed on.
