We loved the visit to Georgetown. The building is nice but being inside is even better. The corridors, the classrooms and so on

Founded in 1789, Georgetown University is worth a visit! It's architecture is beautiful and drenched in history. Do a little reading before your visit - lots of hidden treasures on campus where historic figures spoke (i.e. George Washington on the Old North steps).
I agree with other reviewers that comment that the university is a wonderful place to walk around. Beautiful buildings with a long history. The surrounding neighborhood is full of scenic interesting old row homes. A short walk from the shopping district and restaurants.
In the heart of Georgetown, it is worth visiting to admire the architecture and walk around the campus. In addition to the university, you can combine your stroll through campus with visiting shops and restaurants in this bustling neighborhood.
The college buildings and dorms are from a different time. You can close your eyes and feel majesty of a bygone era
Georgetown University is in a very safe part of D.C. , the campus is quite large and you will enjoy the walk through the campus
A surprise welcome for an urban campus with so many of its buildings on the street, nice to see a campus center with welcoming gates. Rather lovely, especially given its locale.
