With so much to see on the grounds in Washington, its hard to take it all in without a knowledgeable and passionate guide like Tim. You will hear little known vignettes about the memorials and presidential history which will add color to your visit. He entertains and informs. I went on Tim's tour with a group of 25 veterans. As... More

Very interesting walking tour starting outside the White House Visitors Center. Rich history lessons of presidents, wars, and important figures honored along the national mall as you meander along with Tim and your small group. You stop about halfway for a snack and a bathroom break. Great to hear history come alive in stories , background info on memorials ,... More

What a wonderful tour of D.C.. We went to many points of interest and Tim was extremely accommodating to the children and people with wheel chairs in our group. Tim was great at interacting with everyone in the tour and answering questions from my 6 year old. He made sure that he was just as involved as the adults. We... More

I never would have believed that one tour guide could have taught me so much about D.C. and that I would come away wishing the tour could have lasted longer. Absolutely amazing experience!

I have never had 5 hours go by so quickly. Tim was so entertaining and extremely knowledgeable. He had an answer for every single question and usually 2 or 3 amazing stories to go along with it. His explanation and stories about the Vietnam Memorial were especially intriguing and entertaining. I learned things that I never would have learned on... More

Tim is a great tour guide. Points of interest include the White House (from a distance), Washington Monument, World War II Memorial, Vietnam Memorial, Lincoln Memorial and the Korean War Memorial. The tour finishes close to the MLK Memorial, so you can easily see that on our own. Tim is flexible and very informative. The only problem is that our... More

We absolutely loved Tim's Mounumental STOURies tour. This city is so full of amazing history and stories, and Tim relayed it with humor and interest. It was the highlight of our trip. Plan for it to take the majority of your day and pack snacks, water, hat/sunscreen and a thirst for knowledge!

My wife, elementary aged children, and I attended this tour. Tim worked to keep my kids involved. Lots of interesting tips and information - very good! Only complaint is the tour is rather long almost 5 hours which can get a little long.

Tim was really knowledgeable and shared many interesting stories and facts. He's really friendly and funny. We joined this tour last month and there was only 3 others on this trip which makes it even better to be in a small group. We really learned alot and highly recommend this tour.
