It was a very informative tour but I would suggest finding more spots where we could sit or lean and listen. The kids wanted more time at each memorial to look around they felt a bit rushed

Its always a tough decision choosing which city tour to take, its a process i have been through hundreds of time after traveling more than 60 countries. After all those city tours i have not written one review until now.... This tour was everything you could hope for out of a tour ..... And felt compelled that i had to... More

This is a long tour; in our case about five hours with few breaks. You stand and listen more than you actually walk. However, if you are prepared to 'invest' this amount of time and don't bring too many young children then you're in for an outstanding experience. Tim Stewart, previously a teacher, offers so much history, anecdotes and insights... More

Not a lot to add except to say emphasize the tour is somewhat long but totally worth the time. We learned so much and Tim does a great job. As an FYI it's free but we did tip ($25 per person, which I think is very fair). My only advice for Tim would be to check the group to see... More

Tim's tour was our family's favorite part of our trip to D.C.! Tim was lively & engaging the entire tour. His knowledge of and passion for D.C. shined a whole new light of appreciation on to our great nation's history. We wished we could have had Tim with us our entire trip!

This tour is amazing!!! Can't say enough good things about it! Tim knows so much - really brought the memorials and monuments to life. This was by far our favorite activity in D.C. Even our 3 kids (2 teens and one pre-teen) thought it was incredible! We learned so much from Tim. He is so helpful and informative. Highly recommend... More

Tim was a teacher, and throughout our five hour tour of the monuments, Tim applied the tools of his craft to keep us all informed, engaged, and entertained. He is aware that five hours can be somewhat daunting, especially to youngsters, but Tim is so lively, it only felt like a four and a half hour tour. Just kidding! I... More

Historical, comical, somber, important. I recommend this walking tour to everyone that I know visits D.C. You will see history deeply and more meaningfully through the lens that is D.C. Tim is an excellent guide. He works for tips only. Be generous!
