A very nicely done facility, although there was no assistance in what to do or see. I really didn’t understand what theme the facility was trying to depict. There was a lot of info on Master Chief Petty Officers as well as some awards and...More

Naturally, as residents of Portsmouth U.K., the home of the Royal Navy, we were interested to see the Naval Memorial. It is very impressive, with plaques, running water and fountains, flagpole masts and a single figure. Fittingly it is placed in a prominent position beside...More

It's easy to walk right by and not realize it is a Navy Memorial. Take a moment to explore this area. The fountain, the words, the statue....it's a special memorial.

The Navy Memorial is a place that all Military and Navy sailors should visit. Been there a few times and would return again.

This memorial is well done. We need more like this to honor service men and women and to remind us of their sacrifice. Would recommend stopping here on walk to the Capitol Building.

Fountains were not working which was a pity. It's nice but I was expecting something more opulent and fitting perhaps.

Wow. We stumbled on this memorial while heading to a museum. It was such a treat. The bronze artwork surrounding the memorial depicting different aspects of the navy and the jobs they do were fantastic. The art astounding. I spent a long time looking at...More

Came because we wanted to hear and see the Navy Band performance. We didn't realize there was a beautiful memorial to see as well. We missed the museum because the performance is in the evening and the museum was closed. If you have an opportunity...More
