The choice of FDR's quotes and "human scale" sculptures made a much more lasting impression on me than the other, larger-than-life monuments - like the ones for Lincoln and Jefferson.

The memorial spans four different times of FDR's presidency . Each section exquisitely depicts the history in visuals that are outstanding. You engage fully in the memorial at every level. This is my favorite as it tells history in a captivating manner

We were told this place is new and it looks it, There is an area for each of his 4 terms. We only got to three. This is an outdoor display so if it rains, there is no place to keep dry.

Nice memorial, worth the walk around the Tidal Basin, especially when weather is nice. Quiet, peaceful, lovely water features.

Definitely worth seeing, especially the way it's arranged. Kind of off the beaten path, however. Have to do some walking to get out here.

There are 4 parts to this memorial. There is more walking around than most of the other ones but still isn't crazy big. Very cool. Plus there is a dog!

Yes, there is metered parking on Ohio Drive SW, as you drive from Jefferson to Lincoln along Pontomac river. You can park there and walk to all the memorials, also including Lincoln, Korean and Vietnam, as there isn’t much... More
