This is a very detailed memorial, so be sure to set aside some time to explore it. Each "room" depicts a significant piece of history. Beautiful views of the Washington Monument right on the Potomac too.

Yes, there is metered parking on Ohio Drive SW, as you drive from Jefferson to Lincoln along Pontomac river. You can park there and walk to all the memorials, also including Lincoln, Korean and Vietnam, as there isn’t much... More
